The Power of Healing: A Memoir of Loss & Victory

Book Description

Every person we meet has a story to tell and an opinion of you, but at the end of the day, you must learn to put yourself first and do what is best for you. If not, these people will try to tell you “who you are,” “what you should do,” and “what you should be.” That is not how we were created. God created us to be uniquely designed, which is how we should live our lives daily. The Power of Healing: A Memoir of Loss & Victory is intended to be a resource and guide for those experiencing or who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. I openly share my personal experiences about my recurrent miscarriages and brain hemorrhage, how it affected my day-to-day routine, and my process of healing. I am also transparent about how my faith caused me to have a fulfilling life after the storm. My victory finally came after recognizing that I needed to heal from life's challenges and embrace God’s timing.

Once I started, I couldn't stop reading. Ms. Animashaun shares so many deeply personal experiences and emotions with such straightforwardness that it's humbling to reflect upon her strength and optimism. I do not doubt that her story will resonate with many people as it did with me.
